CacheX

Find out what everything you own is worth.

CacheX is a free app that turns one photo of your stuff into a live resale portfolio. Identify any item, price it against real sold listings, and track what you own like cash. Launching on iOS and Android.

What CacheX Is

A cache is a hidden store of valuable things. Most people have one without knowing it: tools in the garage, sneakers in the closet, cameras in a drawer, trading cards in a box. It is real resale value hiding in plain sight. CacheX turns it into cash you can see.

The product is built around one observation: pricing tools that work on a single-item basis miss the way people actually own things. We own piles. CacheX lets you photograph a shelf, a drawer, or a whole garage at once, identifies every resaleable item in the shot, prices each one against real sold listings, and rolls the whole thing up into a portfolio you can track like cash.

It is Robinhood for the stuff you already own.

How It Works

One photo to a tracked portfolio in four steps. No listings to write, no spreadsheets, no manual lookups.

1

Snap the pile

Point your camera at a shelf, a drawer, or the whole garage. One photo, many items. No listings to write by hand.

2

Identify down to the model

AI vision picks out each resaleable item and identifies it precisely. Not just "a guitar" but the make, model, and finish the resale market actually pays for.

3

Price against real sold listings

Every item gets a value range built from what is selling right now and what recently sold. You see what it truly resells for, not a sticker price.

4

Track it like a portfolio

Your whole cache in a single balance. Watch it move, see what is climbing, and know what is worth selling.

Who CacheX Is For

Anyone who owns more than they remember. CacheX was built for the people sitting on a cache without realizing it.

Collectors

Trading cards, sneakers, vinyl, watches. Track values across your whole collection without piecemeal eBay searches.

Resellers

Garage sale flips, estate finds, thrift hauls. Identify and price an entire pickup in minutes instead of hours.

Households

The drawer of old tech, tools in the garage, gear in the closet. Real money you forgot you owned.

Movers and downsizers

Before the move, find out what is actually worth selling and what is not. Skip the spreadsheets.

Design Principles

The choices that make CacheX different from a generic price-lookup tool.

Market-based, not sticker price

Prices come from real sold listings, not what people are asking. The difference between asking and selling is where most pricing tools get it wrong.

One photo, many items

Most apps want you to scan one thing at a time. CacheX processes the whole shot, so a quick photo of a shelf becomes a full inventory.

Portfolio, not just lookup

A one-off lookup is forgettable. CacheX keeps your items in a live portfolio so you can watch value move and act when it makes sense.

Free, by design

The value of what you own should not be locked behind a paywall. CacheX is free because most people who have a cache do not have a budget for asset software.

Why Build This

Most people own more than they think and have no way to see it. Resale marketplaces give you tools to sell one thing at a time, but nothing tells you what your whole pile is worth. Asset trackers exist for stocks and crypto, but the physical stuff in your house, the part that actually has resale value, has no portfolio.

CacheX exists to close that gap. A photo becomes an identified item, an identified item becomes a market-priced asset, and a collection of assets becomes a portfolio. The same way a brokerage app turned investing from a paperwork exercise into something you can check on your phone, CacheX is trying to do the same thing for everything you already own.
